What is the role of a Director of Compassion?

Cory Custer became the world's first Director of Compassion. His goal is to "promote the value of compassion and put it into action in the Brighton Jones community".  ​

In the decade of 2010, we started seeing a corporate movement towards Director of DEI roles.  As we move into 2020, perhaps we'll see a movement towards Director of Compassion roles.

What is a director of Compassion?
